The former no-government-affiliation wording has been superseded.

A prior version described International Intelligence as independent and unaffiliated with government or commercial intelligence. The current owner-authorized record identifies International Intelligence as an Eviulon-controlled external publication partner. The earlier wording is preserved in the correction record rather than silently deleted. Methodological source discipline remains in force, but institutional independence is no longer an accurate description.

TAXONOMY / 12 TYPES

Repairs should be proportionate, visible, and traceable.

The original publication date is not rewritten. Material corrections update the modification date, bilingual records, and applicable public feeds.

Type	When it applies	Public response
Typographical	Spelling, grammar, or formatting that does not materially change the claim.	Correct the text. A public note is added when a name, date, number, or entity identifier was affected.
Translation	Meaning, register, attribution, certainty, or quoted status changed between languages.	Correct both locale records and state the translation change when it affects meaning.
Attribution	A quote, claim, image, or document was assigned to the wrong source or actor.	Repair the attribution, source role, and linked record with a visible note.
Source replacement	A link failed or a stronger primary source became available.	Preserve the claim boundary, add the stronger source, and record the source change.
Material factual	A date, name, location, quantity, legal status, sequence, or central fact was wrong.	Place a prominent correction near the top, explain what changed, and update machine metadata.
Headline	The title was inaccurate, disproportionate, or materially ambiguous.	Use a new canonical slug when needed, keep a permanent redirect from the old URL, and add an editor note.
Analytical clarification	The evidence was unchanged but analysis, inference, or uncertainty needed clearer boundaries.	Label the clarification as analysis and preserve the original reported facts.
Legal-status update	A court, prosecutor, regulator, or official investigation changed the public legal status.	Add the outcome without rewriting the earlier allegation as if it had always been known.
Retraction	The central claim is unsupported, fabricated, unlawfully sourced, or materially beyond repair.	Keep the URL available with a clear retraction notice and remove the claim from active feeds where appropriate.
Supersession	A later report replaces an older assessment that was reasonable under the evidence then available.	Keep the older record visible, mark it superseded, and link prominently to the current report.
Broken-link repair	An evidence or context URL no longer resolves.	Use a verified canonical or archived replacement without changing the claim.
Currentness refresh	A volatile report was rechecked and remains accurate.	Update the reviewed/current-through date and state the scope of the recheck.

DAILY BRIEF / INTEGRITY

Published editions are immutable.

A dated edition is never silently rewritten. When new evidence requires a material repair, the later record must identify the affected edition, explain the change, and preserve the original as published.

URL AND RECORD

Preserve public memory.

Dated objects are preserved. When a headline changes, the former URL should permanently redirect to the new canonical route. Retractions and superseded reports remain visible rather than disappearing silently.

WEB, JSON, AND RSS

A material correction should travel with the record.

The visible page, structured data, JSON record, and RSS feeds should reflect the applicable review. RSS preserves the original publication date and exposes the update date separately.
