PUBLIC-INTEREST INTELLIGENCE
Trace power through records—not rumors.
International Intelligence converts official records, public APIs, and source-preserved reporting into a privacy-respecting research desk. Every item retains its origin, evidence class, retrieval date, and confidence label.
INTERACTIVE GLOBAL TIMELINE
Explore six months of event pages on a rotating 3D globe

Intelligence Desk
Latest from the desk
A local snapshot assembled on this server. Opening this page does not contact the original publishers.
Architecting public intelligence without exposing the reader
A foundational report explains the server-side acquisition model, common evidence schema, official-record connectors, procurement workflow, and flat-host deployment pattern.
Evidence before position: the project methodology and terms
The editorial charter defines the eight-level Evidence Ladder, confidence labels, data minimization, authorization boundary, correction process, and role of machine assistance.
Source orientation: Federal Register authority monitor
The enabled connector searches bounded terms across rules, proposed rules, notices, presidential documents, and public-inspection material, then preserves document numbers and named agencies.
Source orientation: follow surveillance and AI procurement
USAspending award records can identify agencies, recipients, amounts, and dates that should trigger precise requests for solicitations, contracts, validation records, and deletion terms.
Source orientation: civil-liberties narrative feeds
Official EFF and EPIC feeds supply issue discovery and legal context. Their articles remain reporting or expert analysis and should be followed to underlying records for material claims.
Records toolkit: build a procurement and contracts request
The local generator turns an institution, system, date range, and record categories into a focused records request. The draft stays in the browser and can be copied, printed, or downloaded.
Methodology
Operating principles
Server-side by design
Feeds are fetched by scheduled PHP jobs, normalized, and written to local JSON. Reader browsers never query source APIs.
Evidence before position
Primary records and official files carry more weight than interpretation. Uncertainty is visible rather than flattened.
Minimize before publication
The project targets systems, institutions, vendors, and public claims—not private bystanders.
ARCHITECTURE
The reader never touches the external source.
A scheduled job requests data, the server normalizes it, and the public site reads a local snapshot. That intentional friction protects privacy and creates an inspectable chain of custody.
